What is ARO?
ARO is a sparkling fermented aronia drink. It is crisp, lightly tangy and made for people who want a grown-up alternative to sugary fizzy drinks and shouty energy drinks.
What does ARO taste like?
ARO has a dark berry flavour with a tart, refreshing edge. Think blackcurrant, cranberry and elderberry territory — crisp, sharp and not overly sweet.
What are aronia berries?
Aronia berries are small, dark purple-black berries known for their bold colour and naturally tart flavour. They give ARO its berry bite and grown-up finish.
Is ARO an energy drink?
No. ARO is not an energy drink. It is a sparkling fermented aronia drink made for refreshment, not big caffeine, neon branding or dramatic promises.
Is ARO like kombucha?
Not exactly. ARO has a fermented berry base, but it is designed to be crisp, sparkling and easy to drink. It sits somewhere between sparkling water, kombucha and a grown-up berry soft drink.
What does fermented mean?
Fermentation is a natural process that helps develop flavour, acidity and depth. In ARO, fermentation helps give the aronia base a more complex character than ordinary flavoured fizzy water.
Does ARO contain EM®?
ARO is inspired by Agriton’s knowledge of EM® and fermentation. The exact product details should always be checked on the can label and final product information.
Is ARO probiotic?
We do not currently lead with probiotic claims. ARO is best described as a sparkling fermented aronia drink unless live culture claims are confirmed and approved for the finished canned product.
Is ARO vegan?

Is ARO gluten-free?
